Severance Hall |
Severance Hall Walker and Weeks, architects Severance Hall is home of the Cleveland Orchestra. Built in 1930, opened in 1931, the concert hall was donated John L. Severance as a memorial to his wife Elizabeth DeWitt Severance. Henry Hering was the sculptor of the relief work on the pediments and Elsa Vick Shaw was the artist commissioned to do the murals in the rotunda. Roger Mastroianni, photographer |
